Full View and Comments appreciated!
I recently aquired Juvenile Orion(Aquarian Age) Volume 1, and I have fallen in love, period. Lol, Kaname is a bit of a diffucult character, and his hair is so finniky, but I felt like I needed to focus more on drawing men recently, and the picture of Kaname on the contents page of volume one was just what the doctor ordered, simply, but detailed enough to keep me happy. I Kept it black and white just like it was in the manga, feeling that any use of colour would make his silhouette look unfinished. So I kept it simple just like it is in the Manga. I thought his chibi on the back page was cute, so I included a block-out of that. I was bored and feeling a bit un-artistic after a 'doodle' of Kaname I was working on went caput (May post remains of it up later) However this has rekindled my spirits, and probably only took about an hour to two hours to do. It was simply breaking the need I had to draw Kaname's male form and some artists-block. (Don't you just hate that lol) His wings were evil to do, (Note all the little bumps?) and his foot has dissapeared - It didn't show it on the manga picture, and even though I 'tried' to include it, that went caput as well. Damn me.
Anyway, please tell me what you think, all critique welcome, but advanced encouraged.
EDIT: Silly me, forgot to mention I did all this with my Wacom tablet - Silly Silly Laura. *slaps*
